Orren TANABE
bass-baritone

Bass-Baritone Orren TANABE was born in California. He studied voice with Professor Philip LARSON and Professor Carol PLANTAMURA at the University of California, San Diego.

His performance covers an extremely diverse range of music, from baroque to contemporary music, as evidenced in roles such as Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and the reporter in Anthony DAVIS' Tania. He has appeared with the San Diego Opera, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo International Singers, Sonor and Manufacture Ensembles. Orren has toured with ELISION Ensemble to strong acclaim in major performing arts centres in Berlin, Zurich and Saitama.
