Isabel MUNDRY
Isabel Mundry (b.1963) studied composition in Berlin with
Frank Michael BEYER and Gösta NEUWIRTH
concurrent with studies in musicology, art
history and philosophy. She also studied with Hans ZENDER in Frankfurt
and currently is Professor of Composition at the Frankfurt Hochschule.
From 1992-94 she had a scholarship at the Cité des Arts in Paris and
followed the Course in Electronic Music at IRCAM. She has also worked
at the Heinrich Ströbel Studios in Freiburg. She has won numerous
prizes including the Berliner, Boris Blacher, Busoni, Kranichsteiner
and Schneider-Schott-Musikpreis. Her work is published by
Breitkopf & Härtel.
