Richard HAMES
Composer and best-selling author, a doctor of medicine with a Ph.D in
computer science, Richard Hames is Australia's pre-eminent corporate
philosopher and a world leading futurist. Educated in Europe, Richard
has been honoured with numerous awards including a French Government
Scholarship, a Leverhulme European Fellowship, the Mondadori
Professorial Fellowship at the University of Bologna and the inaugural
Lord Attlee Fellowship at London University. In 1994 he was elected a
Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He also represents Australia on
International Synergy in New York.
As President of The Hames Group, Richard works throughout the world with
a broad range of industry and government clients, building their
strategic capability to remain viable in a connected economy. He is
mentor to several high profile leaders, business strategist to some of
the world's most innovative corporations and an adviser to governments.
A celebrated public speaker and writer, Richard is author of the
best-selling book, The Management Myth: Exploring the Essence of Future
Organizations.
His second book, Burying the 20th Century -- New Paths to
New Futures, was published in 1997 and he is a key contributor to
Rewiring Organizations for the New Economy
published in March 2002 in the US.
