Michael HEWES
audio engineer/producer

A graduate of the La Trobe University Department of Music, Michael Hewes has spent 15 years as an audio engineer/producer specializing in the recording and live production of Contemporary Music. In this time he has worked with many of the leading Contemporary Music organizations in Australia, including The Astra Chamber Music Society (since 1989), ELISION Ensemble (since 1990), Pipeline, Libra Ensemble, Michael Kieran HARVEY, Chamber Made Opera, Contemporary Music Events, The David Chesworth Ensemble and Aphids Events. Michael also works as an improvising performer using real-time computer-based processing of instrument sounds.
