ELISION Ensemble is . . .
ELISION Ensemble consists of a core ensemble of around twenty players drawn
from four Australian capital cities, making ELISION truly Australia's
national contemporary music ensemble.
The musicians of the ELISION Ensemble collectively represent a singular body
of expertise in the performance and practice of New Music. Individually,
many of the instrumentalists are considered as virtuoso soloists in their
own right; others occupy peak profesional positions in some of
Australia's most important classical orchestras, early music ensembles,
improvisational groups and jazz formations.
