ELISION Ensemble consists of a core ensemble of twenty players drawn from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Singapore, Manchester, Paris, Cologne, Bonn and Berlin, making ELISION truly Australia's international contemporary music ensemble.
The musicians of the ELISION Ensemble collectively represent a singular body of expertise in the performance and practice of new music. Individually, many of the musicians are considered virtuoso soloists in their own right; others occupy peak profesional positions in some of Australia's symphony orchestras, early music ensembles, improvising groups and jazz formations.
