ELISION Ensemble consists of a core ensemble of twenty-one players drawn from four Australian capital cities and nine international centres, making ELISION truly Australia's international contemporary music ensemble.

The musicians of the ELISION Ensemble collectively represent a singular body of expertise in the performance and practice of new music. Individually, many of the musicians are considered virtuoso soloists in their own right; others occupy peak profesional positions in some of Australia's symphony orchestras, early music ensembles, improvising groups and jazz formations.
